• Telephone Access: Telephone lines will be open from 8:00am with effect from 1^st October 2026.
• Online Consultation: You can access the online platform on our website home page as usual for all non-urgent clinic and admin queries.
• Reception Desk: Doors will be open from 8:00am for routine enquiries.  Please be aware that requests for acute on the day appointments will only be taken via telephone and will not be taken at the Reception Desk.
• Clinic starting times: Clinic starting times will remain from 8:30am.

Reports in the media are stating that patients who have a BMI of at least 40 and are living with four or more obesity-related conditions should be able to access Tirzepatide (Mounjaro ®) in a primary care setting. Contrary to these reports, there is currently no mechanism for GPs at the Practice to prescribe weight loss medications such as Mounjaro, with the exception of diabetic patients as has been the case for a number of years.   

Patients are asked not to contact their GP practice with requests for weight loss treatment at this time. We will provide an update once further information becomes available to us.
